What happened? He got choked out, went to sleep, the blood vessels on his eyeballs burst, that's what happened. In his own words: "I didn't need treatment because the blood capillaries didn't burst in the inside of my orbital. Though, was probably only seconds away from that happening."

I have been choked to unconsciousness a few times (not because I was being stubborn, but the first thing to go is your judgment!) but I am SO HAPPY this never happened...
ReplyDeleteIn criminal investigations, petichiae (broken blood vessels in the sclera) are a sure sign of strangulation, but I have NEVER seen them this bad. That's serious! :)

My experience getting choked out the guy let go almost immediately and I just woke up with a snerk after having a pleasant dream. I jut went out so fast I didn't have time to tap. Tightest arm triangle I've ever felt...

ReplyDeleteIt's a guy who I know on FB and he was happy to share this photo. He got choked out in competition - not in normal class. So that might explain why his symptoms were so severe.

petechia are not broken blood vessels in the eye, subconjunctival hemorrhage is. petechia occur all over the body, usually in older folks
