Summary
Black belt World champion Dominyka Obelenyte shows off some of her favourite moves. The set is split roughly into two halves: the first showcasing seven spider guard sweeps, the second half concentrating on submissions. The most notable moves of the set are her 'Domoplata' attacks and the shoulder wrenching "coat hanger of destruction."

Polaris Professional Jiu Jitsu 2 - Results

Polaris Pro 2 was even better than the first event. In total, there were 6 submission finishes out of 8 matches. The entire event was a jiu jitsu nerds dream come true. The highlight for me was to watch my team mate Daniel Strauss compete against the World Champion AJ Agazarm in a drama filled contest. But there were so so many talking points - Gezary Matuda's 8 second armbar for example, of Daisuke Nakamura matching Victor Ribeiro for 14 minutes until finally succumbing to a choke - yet still ending the day with the world's biggest smile.

The sit-up system is a method of escaping side control without utilising grips or shrimping. Black belt Jeff Rockwell demonstrates a complete escape system that offers more than just the one way to escape side control. The e-book format provides the reader with quick loading gifs, written commentary and a highger quality short form video. With all the rich media content, pages can be slow to load. The techniques themselves are taught very well and are valuable to jiu jitsu players of all levels.

Very flamboyantly designed jiu jitsu uniform with a love it or hate it appeal, the Fabulous Gi actually fitted me very well (A1L jacket and A1 trousers), with minimal shrinkage and overall very good quality construction.

Summary
Ronda Rousey does not do humblebragging. She, plus her sister Maria, who is credited as co-author, writes it plain and straight. And in My Fight Your Fight, it's clear she certainly had a LOT of things that she wanted to get off her chest. We are taken on a roller coaster journey from young judo prodigy to the most dominant female MMA athlete in UFC history. It’s quite some story and whether you are a Ronda fan or not, there's enough here of interest to keep you entertained throughout.

Gi Review - Mike Fowler signature gi by Tatami Fightwear

Summary
Goldweave jacket decorated with Japanese influenced graphics this gi designed by BJJ black belt Mike Fowler is quite simply the most beautiful kimono ever to have come into existence. Gorgeously comfortable to wear, sturdy yet still lightweight, if I could pick just one fault it would have to be the tendency for the goldweave to shrink more than pearlweaves. My sample ended up being too short in the sleeves for my long arms.
