The 2019 Artemis BJJ Grapplethon is being held on the 9th-10th March at MyGym in Bristol. Come on down!
What's a Grapplethon? It's like BJJ open mat, but it goes on for a long time, like 12 or 24 hours. Some call it a roll-a-thon, it's all the same: friendly vibes, cool rolls, great people. Oh and most importantly, the events are held to raise funds for charity. In the case of the one at Artemis BJJ, the charity we have chosen this year is
WomanKind Bristol Women's Therapy Centre - a centre dedicated to help women experiencing mental health issues.
For more details about the event, check out the official
Artemis BJJ website link and donate to the
official fundraising page or set up your own fundraising page on Local Giving. The top fundraisers will earn themselves this year's T-shirt also designed by me and printed by the always supportive
Tatami Fightwear:
As is now tradition, I will be offering art prints to sell - strictly limited edition and all profits will go towards the fundraiser. Stay tuned for news about this on my Instagram page, Twitter and Facebook page.
